Joining the orchestra
We are always looking for new players to join the orchestra. If you live in Adelaide, play at or above AMEB grade 7 or equivalent standard, and can make a commitment to come to the majority of the rehearsals (Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 10pm), then we certainly want to hear from you.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Ordinary Members
There are currently over 70 ordinary members of the orchestra.
All ordinary members pay a small annual subscription fee to participate. They are the heart and soul of our orchestra.
Extra Musicians
We also have a relationship with numerous extra musicians who join us to play any additional woodwind, brass, harp and percussion parts. They volunteer their own time and expertise, and are a highly valued component of the orchestra; we appreciate their ongoing involvement with the USO.
